‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Renewed For A Sixth Season By ABC

ABC has handed out a sixth-season renewal to action drama series “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD." To date, the show averages a soft 1.1 rating among adults in the 18-49 age demo. The renewal comes just ahead of the show's now-season finale on May 18, which had been ominously titled “The End.” The finale will also reportedly wrap up the program's crossover with Marvel smash hit movie “Avengers: Infinity War.

    Agents of SHIELD season six just recently wrapped production and the show is apparently moving full steam ahead into its next season. According to a new report online, production on season seven of Agents of SHIELD is supposed to kick off in just a few short weeks. After being a late renewal for the past seasons, including being the very last show ABC renewed last year, Agents of SHIELD has already received a 13-episode order for a seventh season, meaning the show has a minimum of two seasons worth of episodes left to broadcast.
