    Au vu du niveau de taxation dans l'Hexagone, nous ne sommes pas loin d'être le pays qui taxe le plus les cigarettes. En effet, sur un paquet de tabac qui coûte 10 euros, 85% du prix part dans les caisses de l'État. Ce qui est trop élevé par rapport à la majorité de nos voisins européens avec la Belgique taxant à 78% et le Luxembourg à 69%. Cependant, nous ne sommes pas les champions, mais nous sommes sur le podium avec la Finlande et l'Estonie qui taxent les cigarettes plus que nous.
