Big Ben won't ring for four years

On Monday, hundreds of onlookers gathered near Westminster Bridge and Parliament Square with their cell phones. They wanted to capture the last sounds of London's "Big Ben" bell ringing. According to Reuters, the famous clock tower will be disassembled for four years of renovation work. Reports say that parts of the 96-meter-tall bell tower, which has rung every hour for 157 years, are already in scaffolding.
